There are three Portuguese (European) SOFTWARE CD–ROM, AUDIO CD or MP3 AUDIO courses availabl (Levels 1, 2 and 3). They all use the same Linkword method to teach vocabulary and grammar.

The SOFTWARE versions allow you to hear the correct pronunciation of each word when it is first presented (as in the demo above), while the AUDIO and MP3 AUDIO versions allow you to listen to the entire course in the car, on a personal CD player, or on an MP3 player like the Apple iPod etc. The software or audio versions are equally effective on their own as they teach the same vocabulary and grammar. However for those who wish to learn by both seeing the text and listening to the course, the different versions are highly complementary.

The Level 1 software or audio course allows you to learn an extensive vocabulary and basic grammar in just 10–12 hours – about 3 times faster than you would take using conventional learning methods!! This will enable you to communicate effectively in Portuguese (European) in EMERGENCIES, at the RESTAURANT, at the HOTEL, at WORK etc etc. Levels 2 and 3 courses extend your learning using exactly the same approach, so by the time you finish you will be able to read and understand the average newspaper, and speak and understand Portuguese (European) in a very wide range of situations.

The courses are ideal for travel, for business and for schoolwork, since the whole course uses all the major grammar points you need for effective communication, including all major grammar points for GCSE.

System Requirements:

Linkword software courses will run on a PC or Mac, and are compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista and all Mac-OS platforms. The courses are presented on CD-ROM media. All the software courses allow you to hear each word when it is first presented (as in the demo at the top of the page).
